Part of the project: Synchroma - Sonichrome. The imagery in Opus 1 is derived entirely from sound, each color channel driven by a separate audio stream: red, green and blue. Extremes of frequency are used, varying from 0.013 to 43,000 Hz. Once harvested, the synthesized color fields become the basis for an improvised reworking set to a vibrant score executed entirely on electric guitar. Excerpt only. January 2010
